MR ANG BOON CHEOW EDWARD
Executive Chairman & CEO
Mr Edward Ang has been instrumental in spearheading the Group’s expansion since its inception in 1995. Mr Ang provides strong leadership to the Group in the area of strategic direction and planning. He is responsible for leading Ocean Sky’s expansion in the global arena and driving the Group towards becoming a sizeable player with one-stop fully integrated solutions.
Armed with a Business Degree from the USA, Mr Ang has achieved a career in the apparel industry spanning more than 14 years. His expertise and contributions to the apparel industry has been recognized by his peers and he was elected the President of the Textile & Fashion Federation (Singapore) from 2002 to 2006. He is the Honorary President since 2007.
MR ANG BOON CHONG
Executive Director & COO
Mr Albert Ang is the co-founder of the Ocean Sky Group and plays a pivotal role in steering the Group’s business development and customer relationship management. Mr Ang is also responsible for the Group’s business policies and expansion plans, particularly in the areas of marketing, merchandising, product development and production. He keeps abreast of the latest trends related to the industry in order to sharpen the Group’s competitive edge.
He has a wealth of experience in the apparel industry spanning 22 years, and successfully lead the establishment of the Group’s subsidiaries whose operations were first modeled after the best practices from Singapore and constantly updated with the most effective and efficient management system.
MR ANG SIEW TIONG
Executive Director & Deputy COO, Cambodia
Mr Ang is Deputy COO, Cambodia. He is responsible for managing the production facilities in Cambodia, which include both the garment manufacturing and support service factories.
Equipped with more than 22 years of experience in the industry, Mr Ang is equally adept at managing the marketability and efficiency of the facilities as well as handling the technicalities of the apparel industry.
MR NG YA KEN @ NG AH KAN
Non-Executive Director
Mr Ng was trained as an economist with a Bachelor degree from the former Nanyang University and a Master’s degree from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. He worked as a senior statistician with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the 1970s and early 1980s before joining the private sector. He was a senior manager at Singapore Press Holdings and a senior consulting manager at the Marketing Institute of Singapore and the Enterprise Promotion Centres. Currently he works as a freelance consultant in market research and business development.
MR CHUA KENG HIANG
Independent Director
Mr Chua is a practicing public accountant in Singapore. Mr Chua has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance and industrial management. He holds an honours degree in accountancy from the then University of Singapore and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). Mr Chua currently sits on the board of three other listed companies - Jadason Enterprises Ltd, Memtech International Limited and Novo Group Ltd.
MR TEO KIANG KOK
Independent Director
Mr Teo is a lawyer with more than 25 years experience in legal practice. He is a partner of Shook Lin & Bok LLP, a firm of advocates and solicitors. He is currently the finance partner and head of corporate finance and China practice groups in Shook Lin & Bok LLP. His main areas of practice are corporate finance, international finance and securities. He has advised listed companies extensively on corporate law and compliance requirements. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Hull and is a Barrister of Law from Lincoln’s Inn. He serves on the board of a number of other companies including Hyflux Ltd, Jadason Enterprises Ltd, Adampak Limited, Food Junction Holdings Ltd and Memtech International Ltd.
